♦ Nandani Wildlife Sanctuary
Primarily a bird sanctuary known for its thick pheasant population, the Nandini Wildlife Sanctuary is located at a distance of 28 kilometers from the Jammu city India and the perfect way to set out on bird watching tours.





♦ Manda Zoo
It is Situated only 6 km.away from Jammu city, this sanctuary occupies an area of 31 sq.km. The area sustains 8 mammal species including nilgai and barking deer and 15 species of birds. The best season for mammal viewing is September to March and for bird viewing March to May




♦ Surinsar Lake
Surinsar Lake is approximately 24 km from Jammu. The lake is a beautiful and peaceful site to watch. Surrounded by forests covered hilly terrains, the lake is a famous tourist spot.According to one Hindu mythology the origination of the lake is related to the legendary warrior from Mahabharata, Arjuna. It is believed that Arjuna shot an arrow into the Mansar land and the arrow pierced the earth and came out through at a place where Surinsar Lake is.

Located on the bank of Tawi river, Bagh-e-Bahu is a beautiful terraced garden is distanced 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from the Jammu city centre, its main attraction is the evening fountain show and The fish-shaped aquarium which is the largest underground aquarium in the country and hosts an impressive collection of fish.

Suchetgarh is a village near India and Pakistan Border located 20 kms from the jammu city.From few years it is emerging as a tourist spot. In close vicinity are the "Gharana and Abdullian wet lands where migratory birds of a number of varieties flock during winter season would add to the attraction of the village.
